NFL Football Picks for 9/25/22

Rotation #463-464
Bills/Dolphins  Over 53.5 (loss)
There is something special about the 2022 Dolphins. Miami had a remarkable comeback last week against Baltimore and should have room to move the ball down the field as the Ravens’ secondary is a mess due to injury. Buffalo has duel threat QB Josh Allen on their side, which should be able to light the scoreboard up today. Look for Miami to keep this game close for a while and make it a higher-scoring game. Take the Over.

Rotation #470
Vikings -6 over Lions (loss)
Vikings/Lions Over 52(push)
Detroit had the luxury of playing in their building the first two weeks. Minnesota already won a big home game against the Packers this season, so you know this place will be loud today.   Minnesota has a balanced rushing and passing attack that should put up a lot of points on the Lions’ defense. Detroit has looked better on offense this year, and Jared Goff has delivered the ball well. I believe this will be a high-scoring game, but the Vikings will pull away. Take the Vikings and the Over.

Rotation #481
Packers +1.5 over Bucs (win)
Tampa is decimated on offense today as the Bucs are without Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and Justin Leonard Fornette is questionable today, as are a few other receivers. Donovan Smith is doubtful on the offensive line, and the Bucs will have a hard time protecting the 45-year-old Tom Brady. Green Bay isn’t at 100 percent on offense either, but I trust their running game and offensive line more. Both teams have good defenses, but Aaron Rodgers will be more efficient in the end than Brady. Take the Packers.

Rotation #488
Broncos +1.5 over 49ers (win)
49ers QB Trey Lance is out for the year, so it’s back to Jimmy G at QB. It’s hard to win football games on the road if you are not at full strength in the running game. Elijah Mitchell is on IR, and the Broncos’ defense could game plan all week on Jimmy G. The 49ers’ Offensive Line is also thin, and I expect the Denver defense to get many stops. Look for Russell Wilson to throw the ball well and the balanced rushing attack to get a lot of yards. Denver’s better offensive line should win a big prime-time game at home. Take the Broncos.
