Rotation # 451
Colts -5.5 over Titans (win)
The Titans are trying to avoid a 0-3 start, but the Colts don’t care about that and would love to create separation early in the season in the AFC South. It will take Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward time to find his game, and it won’t be any easier with the right side of his offensive line missing today. JC Latham is out, and Kevin Zeitler did not practice this week. The Indianapolis front seven will pin their ears back and attack Ward all game. The Colts quarterback, Daniel Jones, looks like the MVP of the NFL, something none of us could have imagined. It shows you what having a good offensive line can do for a quarterback’s career. Indianapolis is well balanced, with Jonathan Taylor running the ball, making it hard for them to be predictable. The Titans will be without their massive NT T’Vondre Sweat, making it hard to slow down the run. Indianapolis is the better team on both sides of the football field and should secure a road win. Take the Colts.

Rotation # 453-454
Falcons/Panthers over 44.5 (loss)
One thing that helps both young quarterbacks in today’s game is the strength of the running backs, which takes the pressure off the signal caller. Panthers running back Chubba Hubbard is off to a decent start, and Falcons running back Bijan Robinson is one of the best in football. Atlanta QB Michael Penix will take advantage of a Panthers team without a couple of players on the front seven who can get after the quarterback. More time in the pocket equals bigger strikes down the field. The Panthers’ quarterback, Bryce Young, will look to exploit a Falcons secondary that is missing AJ Terrell and Jordan Fuller. Both offenses should be well-balanced enough to make this a higher-scoring game. Take the Over.

Rotation # 461
Rams +3.5 over Eagles (loss)
Rams/Eagles Over 45.5 (win)
The Eagles opened the season looking vulnerable against Dak Prescott and were saved by a weather delay, which cooled the offense down. Last week, the Eagles called a magnificent game plan by taking the air out of the ball to keep Mahomes off the field. Kansas City was down key receivers, so the Eagles simply frustrated them by winning the time of possession. The Rams don’t have the same issues Kansas City does. Matthew Stafford has many players to throw the ball to in addition to Kyren Williams’ legs. The Eagles have the youngest defense in the NFL, and at some point, they will struggle for four full quarters. Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo was a QB coach and passing specialist, and when given the green light by the head coach, will open up the playbook. The Rams’ offensive line can win in the trenches and have the tools to take this game down to the wire. Take the Rams and the Over. No Parlays.

Rotation # 475-476
Cardinals/49ers Over 44.5
The Cardinals took advantage of the 49ers in both meetings last year. San Francisco was hit by the injury bug last season, and it’s been deja vu. The good news is the running backs are healthy, and Mac Jones is a capable backup with 50 career starts. San Francisco will be without Demarcus Robinson for another week and soon will get George Kittle and Brandon Aiyuk back. The San Francisco front office did a great job acquiring key veteran receivers that every other team failed to sign, and Klay Kubiak has an attack mindset as offensive coordinator. The Cardinals took a big hit to the secondary with Sean Murphy-Bunting and Starling Thomas going to the IR, but now Arizona is without Will Johnson and Max Melton is limited. The Cardinals do not have NFL-quality cornerbacks or depth today. The 49ers must attack. James Conner played well against the 49ers last year, and Arizona is thrilled with the production they are getting from Trey Benson. Kyler Murray is slippery when trying to tackle, which helps him keep the chains moving. Look for a higher-scoring game. Take the Over.
