Panthers +3.5 over Saints (win)
The NFL is all about matchups so you can’t look at last week and think the Saints are elite because they beat a dysfunctional Packers team. The Saints still have a lot of issues on offense. This team can run the ball, but I am still not sold on this group of receivers with Thomas and Smith out. The Panthers looked decent for most of the game last week and then got a little sloppy in the second half. I believe Carolina will play great defense today and Christian McCaffrey will make this defense honest enough for Sam Darnold to find his targets. The Saints have a lot of injuries at all three levels of their defense and I believe the Panthers can lean on the run, control the clock and play solid defense which will lead them to the upset. Take the Panthers.

Eagles +3 over 49ers (loss)
Eagles/49ers Over 49 (loss)
I get hesitant backing young rookie coaching staffs like the Eagles, but a scenario has popped up that you have to roll the dice on. The 49ers will be without their top running back on the road and they will be playing two rookie cornerbacks with zero depth at that position. The Eagles staff is young, but they will attack downfield. We saw last week the 49ers hold on against the Lions of all teams. Once injuries kicked in the 49ers couldn’t stop anybody. The Eagles will take advantage today. SF might not have a running game, but Jimmy Garoppolo still has awesome targets and they will up the tempo. I think there will be a ton of points in this game and we might be able to take advantage of the 49ers injuries and get ourselves a side and total winner. Remember no parlays. Take the Eagles and the Over.

Seahawks -6.5 over Titans (loss)
Seattle has a few offensive line injuries which concern me, but not against this defense. Tennessee had a horrible defense last year and it appears they are on their way again this year. This is not the building you want to play bad defense in. Tyler Lockett could have a multi touchdown dominating performance against this defense. The Titans just can’t pressure the QB which is bad news when going against Russell Wilson. If you give Wilson time he will burn you. The Titans have a great running game, but it does them no good if they are down and out early. This is also a Titans team missing their top kicker so their drives could come up empty a time or two today. Russell Wilson is looking for win 100 and playing in honor of a good friend of his who passed away this week. Look for Seattle to just beat up on this defense. Take the Seahawks.

Cowboys +3 over Chargers (win)
Dak Prescott looked good last week after coming back from that horrible injury last year. The Chargers come into this game with a brand new staff which really hurts Justin Herbert. Herbert was great last year, but in year two has to learn a new system. This offensive line has a rookie on one edge and Bryan Bulaga is on IR. The Cowboys will be missing a few pass rushers, but this is a brand new offensive line for the Chargers at that almost always doesn’t go great for young QB’s. The Cowboys have a balanced attack and the coaching is more experienced. I don’t think they should be the underdogs in this football game. Take the Cowboys.
