Rotation #451-452
Bengals/Ravens Under 46 (loss)
This will be a great AFC North battle. The Ravens like to run the football, but the Bengals are pretty good against the run. Lamar Jackson has the ability to pass and has impoved in that area, but he is missing a few key players on offense which includes Latavius Murray being out at running back. This is a team that dealt with issues at the running back position all season long so besides the QB taking off there isn’t much that scares you right now. Joe Burrow is getting better and he can lean on his running backs who are now getting healtier. Burrow is still young so I don’t expect him to light up the defense. The Ravens Defense is great at putting pressure on the QB and they can also stop the run. I don’t see both teams lighting up the scoreboard today. Look for a low scoring game with a lot of FG attempts. Take the Under.

Rotation #468
Bucs -12 over Bears (win)
The Bears have been without David Montgomery and Tarik Cohen so the running game is suffering. Damien Willaims is coming off the covid list and couldn’t practice or be around his team for two weeks. Justin Fields can’t throw the ball any more than 5 yards and simply put isn’t ready to be the QB yet especially on the road against a Bucs team that has no problem putting up points. Tampa is well balanced on offense with a ton of weapons. When you think Chicago Bears Football you think defense, but that is just not the case this year. The Bears Defense has a good pass rush, but their secondary is struggling. The Bucs offensive line should be able to protect Brady enough to continue their success. All it takes is one bad throw or fumble for the Bears and this game will get out of hand in a hurry. Tampa is great at stopping the run and Fields is not good enough yet to beat this banged up Bucs secondary. Take Tampa.

Rotation #469
Texans +17.5 over Cardinals (loss)
Texans/Cardinals Over 47 (loss)
The best player in the NFL is not that much better than a practice squad player. Now obviously that extra difference is noticable as we the fans watch, but every player is capable of doing their job in this league. Winning a game in the NFL by this margin is super hard to do. The Texans are a poor overall team and QB Davis Mills is struggling, but this is a unique situation. Cardinals Head Coach Kliff Kingsberry has been out of the building all week, but will be coaching today as he just cleared covid protocals while I was doing this write up, but not being around your players and other coaches all week doesn’t help your team. This Cardinals defensive front seven is banged up. Chandler Jones is out, Rashard Lawrence is out as is his backup. This team is missing depth at both the defensive line and the linebacker position. The Texans are a bad team, but they do have veteran players. Houston should be able to move the ball at some point in this game. If Arizona gets a big lead all of their top players are going to come out of the game which means on the defensive side that could mean 3rd stringers playing signifigant time. One thing the general public doesn’t pay attention to is who the Cardinals are playing next. Arizona has a Thursday Night Game against the Packers which is a conference game and means so much more than this one. I just think a 6-0 team that is 5-1 ATS is due for a game where they play down to their competition in hopes to stay healthy for a game next week that will determine playoff seeding. I like both side and total here. Hopefully we can find that window where we cash in both. Take the Texans and the Over.
