Rotation # 453-454
Seahawks/Falcons Over 52 (loss)
Seattle is looking to get back in the winner’s circle after starting the season 3-0 but losing the last three. The Seahawks have a significant issue in the secondary, as their top two cornerbacks are out of the lineup, and they have to rely on rookie backups. The Atlanta passing game has to be licking its chops today with favorable matchups all over the field. Seattle has two outstanding receivers in DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, who stretch the field, and the emergence of Jaxon Smith-Njigba makes them a dangerous team. The Falcons are missing a few starting linebackers today, so tight end Noah Fant will be a big target in the red zone. Both offenses can run the football, leaving the opposing defense guessing which play is coming next, so look for a high-scoring game. Take the Over.

Rotation # 460
Packers -3 over Texans (loss)
The Texans are off to a red-hot 5-1 start this year, but most of those games were indoors, and one against a bad Patriots team in Foxboro. Lambeau Field is a different animal. Houston does have the luxury of playing them in nice weather. The Texans are without four starters on the defense today and have key players on injured reserve in all three levels of their defense. Packers QB Jourdan Love should continue to stay hot after his outstanding four-touchdown performance last week. I like Green Bay more on each side of the football. Take the Packers.

Rotation # 461
Dolphins +3 over Colts (loss)
Miami had two weeks to prepare for this game. The Dolphins are on their backup quarterback, but Indianapolis has issues with their quarterback as Anthony Richardson returns from an injury. Who knows how he will perform or if he can finish the game without getting hurt? Jonathan Taylor is out of the lineup for the Colts today, which puts more pressure on Richardson to perform. The Colts are also dealing with a lot of aches and pains in their receiver room. Miami will run the football and try to take advantage of a Colts run defense that has been underwhelming this season. Look for Miami to hang around. Take the Dolphins.

Rotation # 464
Vikings -1 over Lions (loss)
The Lions pounded the Cowboys last week, but it came at a price. Aidan Hutchinson suffered a horrific injury, and Kyle Peko was hurt. Detroit is missing a lot of talent on its defensive line. The Vikings have been equally impressive, as quarterback Sam Darnold has reinvented his game. Homefield advantage is crucial in this matchup and favors the home team as the game comes down the stretch. Take the Vikings.

Rotation # 468
Rams -7 over Raiders (loss)
Raiders fans would agree that their organization is dysfunctional. Davonte Adams faked an injury to get traded to the Jets, and on the defensive side, Maxx Crosby could go for a trade himself. Las Vegas is hurting along their front seven as they are nursing injuries. The Rams have a more optimistic outlook for their team as Cooper Kupp returns to action, and Puka Nacua will return soon. I see the Raiders coaching staff lasting only a short time. The Rams don’t get the best crowd at SoFi Stadium, but they should do enough at home to win and cover the spread. Take the Rams.

Rotation # 471-472
Chief/49ers Over 47 (loss)
It will be a picture-perfect day for football in Santa Clara. The 49ers are looking to bust out as they have been mediocre to start the season, giving away multiple wins they had in the bag. It feels a lot like how our season has begun. The Chiefs get Clyde Edwards-Helaire back today and hope to get him back in the mix over the next few weeks. Patrick Mahomes is happy that safety Talanoa Hufanga will miss today’s game. The Chiefs should be able to take a few deep shots. The 49ers need to play four full quarters on offense. Shockingly, Kyle Shanahan has been conservative when he typically pushes the pace. He needs to let Brock Purdy sling the ball downfield. The 49ers had ten days to prepare for today’s game, so they should be ready to attack. Andy Reid is the best coach in history coming off a bye week, so the Chiefs should also attack. Both teams have excellent receivers that can make big plays. Look for a high-scoring game in the Super Bowl rematch. Take the Over.
