Vikings -2.5 over Panthers (win)
Minnesota is a good team if they stop being so conservative when they are up by a few points. Last week this team was crushing the Lions and refused to put them away. Detroit almost stole that game. The Panthers lost to the Eagles last week with some bad special teams play and sometimes losses like that carry over into the next week. The Panthers are just not the same team without Christian McCaffrey. Minnesota rested Dalvin Cook last week so he should be ready to explode today. Alexander Mattison has also looked good so this could be a great combo this year. The Vikings defense should be able to make this Panthers team one dimensional which will create turnovers from Sam Darnold. Take the Vikings.

Giants +8 over Rams (loss)
Giants/Rams Over 48.5 (win)
Matthew Stafford has looked great to start the year, but we have to remember he still is in a new system on the other side of the country in an early kickoff. The Giants are without Saquon Barkley we should see Daniel Jones more active with his feet running and throwing the ball which helps a little bit against the Rams pass rush. The Rams have a good defense, but they are very thin in their secondary and don’t have much depth. The Giants have offensive weapons to move the football. This Giants Secondary might not be elite, but it does have playmakers and a lot of depth. As the season moves on depth is huge because opposing teams can’t take advantage of key injuries as much. I think the GMen will hang in this game to the end. We will play side and total both treated as straight bets. Take the Giants and the Over.

Cardinals +3 over Browns (win)
The Browns defense was torched last week and now they will be without Nick Chubb and a few key members on their offensive line. The Browns identity is to run the ball behind a good offensive line so once that is disrupted this team becomes really weak. The Cardinals will be without Chandler Jones today, but their defense still should be able to get to Baker Mayfield. I am not sure why the Browns are favored with the key injuries that they have. The game of football is won and lost in the trenches and this afternoon the Cardinals have the healthier units. Look for Kyler Murray to torch this defense with his arm and legs. Take the Cardinals.

Raiders/Broncos Over 44 (win)
The Raiders could really use a football game to get their mind off the Jon Gruden firing. Denver has looked good this year with a solid offensive line and Teddy Bridgewater managing the game well. The Broncos have key linebackers on IR and lack serious depth in the secondary. The Raiders need to attack early and set the tone with all of their playmakers on offense. The Raiders Defense isn’t very good and they lack talent and depth in the secondary. Teddy Bridgewater should be able to unload for big plays and he should be given the green light to do so. This Denver offense needs to work on their downfield passing game and their couldn’t be a better opponent to do so on. The Raiders are also banged up in the middle of their defensive line so the Broncos will be able to ground and pound as well. Both teams should put up points to make this high scoring. Take the Over.
