Panthers +3.5 over Patriots (loss)
Sam Darnold has been cleared to play and so have Christian McCaffrey. This doesn’t mean they will play, but it’s a step in the right direction for the Panthers. This game to me has more to do with the banged up Patriots defense and their young rookie QB on the road being favorites. I think there is value in the underdog here with all of the guys on the New England side who have not practiced on defense this entire week. The New England secondary is vulnerable as they lack the depth the typically have. Carolina is a young team coached by young guys, but they have speed and they have the ability on defense to pressure the QB and can give you good pass defense. Mac Jones has looked impressive this year for the Patriots, but he is just a rookie and rookies make mistakes in opposing buildings. This should be a tight game with there being value in the home dog. Take Carolina.

Raiders/Giants Over 46.5 (loss)
I look at the Giants and I see a team that is really trying. They were embarrassed at home a few weeks ago by the Rams and to make it worse guys keep dropping left and right with injury. The Giants have looked good the last few weeks and I think can put some points on the Raiders team via the air. The Las Vegas secondary is not talented and can be beaten. Daniel Jones is a duel threat QB that should be able to keep this defense honest enough to hit a few deep shots. The Raiders are a better team, but they are on a new coach, are coming off a bye and playing an early game on the east coast. The Giants do have decent players in their secondary, but Derek Carr is a great nickel and dimer that can work the ball down the field. Vegas has a ton of talent at the skilled positions and their offensive line should be able to take care of this front seven. This should be a great game with a lot of points. Take the Over.

Chiefs -7 over Packers (loss)
The Chiefs are a bad team against the spread. They have lost people money this year and nobody is thrilled to back them, but the write up can start and end with Aaron Rodgers being out of this game with covid-19. Rodgers is the face of the Packers and they go as he goes. Give me whoever they are playing against. Kansas City also gets a break with a couple of guys on the Packers defensive line being hurt. The Chiefs are struggling because this new offensive line is not protecting Patrick Mahomes. If Mahomes gets protection this is the same exact team that put up tons of points last year. Jordan Love just doesn’t have enough experience for me to like him on the road and I believe it’s a matter of time before someone in the secondary picks him off for 6 points. Take the Chiefs.

49ers -3 over Cardinals (loss)
Kyler Murray’s status is in question for this game, but to me it doesn’t matter. This is an Arizona team that is a little overrated and because they have covered so much people still will back them no matter what. The Cardinals top receivers are getting older and are banged up. AJ Green is out of the game and DeAndre Hopkins is questionable with a hamstring injury. The Cardinals are missing their center and their backup center is also in question. The 49ers got a big win last week that game Jimmy Garoppolo confidence. I like San Francisco in the trenches tonight. Arizona is banged up on their defensive line and I believe the 49ers can win at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the football. The Cardinals are not good against the run and although the 49ers are missing key running backs I do think they will be able to move the ball at home. Take the 49ers.
