Bucs -3.5 over Cardinals (loss)
The Bucs have lost three straight, looking to get right at home today. Luckily for Tampa, their division is weak, and they still hold the top spot in the NFC South. The Cardinals are also losers of three straight and have mainly struggled due to injuries. QB Kyler Murray remains out, and just about every running back is out. Bam Knight isn’t a featured back that I trust on the road, and even he is nursing a knee injury. The Cardinals’ offensive line is far from healthy, and receiver Marvin Harrison’s status is in question due to illness. The Bucs are happy to have running back Bucky Irving back in the lineup, which will make them more balanced and less predictable. Tampa has injuries of its own that have slowed its offense, but it still has a good receiving corps that should play well today. It’s not easy to win on the road, but it gets even harder when the running backs’ room is a mash unit. Take the Bucs.

Rotation # 470
Dolphins -5.5 over Saints (loss)
The Dolphins’ playoff hopes are less than 2%, but stranger things have happened. Look at Duke in the ACC. The write-up for today’s game could start and end with if Saints QB Tyler Shough, without key running back Alvin Kamara in the lineup, can beat you, then cool. It really is that simple. Kamara is a massive part of the offense even in the passing game; his absence makes a bad team worse. Chris Olave should play, but he is not at full strength. The Dolphins are nothing to write home about, as they have numerous starters on the offensive line on IR, and QB Tua Tagovailoa has not impressed. Today’s game is more about the lack of explosive plays from the Saints running backs and the Dolphins’ secondary taking advantage of Shough. Mike McDaniel’s job security won’t get any safer if Miami can’t take care of a battered team at home. Take the Dolphins.

Rotation # 471
Falcons -3 over Jets (loss)
Both teams are on backup quarterbacks. It’s tough to have faith in either one. The Falcons’ receivers can help their quarterback out a bit more than the Jets, as key players are on IR and there isn’t much talent on the field. Falcons running back Bijan Robinson is the best player on the field, although Breece Hall has been outstanding for the Jets this year. I don’t trust Tyrod Taylor to mount a comeback if the Jets get down. Falcons QB Kirk Cousins has the luxury of throwing at a New York secondary that traded away key players. It’s week 13, and not one player on the Jets has an interception. Atlanta has a chance on the road, going against a defense that has yet to prove it can make game-changing plays. Take the Falcons.

Rotation # 480
Chargers -10 over Raiders
The spread is high in this contest. Over the course of 60 minutes, the Chargers should pull away against a struggling Raiders team. Vegas was already in a jam when Amari Cooper retired, and then the organization traded away Jakobi Meyers. The Raiders will be without the services of tight end Michael Mayer. The Raiders are as predictable as it gets, as the ball is going to Tre Tucker or Brock Bowers. The Chargers are happy to have gotten back multiple starters on the defensive side of the ball from injured reserve and have a talented group across all three levels of their defense. LA is trying to chase down the Broncos in the division and can’t slip up against an inferior team. Look for the Chargers’ massive offensive line to open up holes for Kimani Vidal and give time for Justin Herbert to find any one of his talented receivers. Take the Chargers.

Rotation # 482
Commanders +6.5 over Broncos
It’s hard to trust a Denver team on the road at the prime time hour as a decent-sized favorite with RJ Harvey as the main running back now that JK Dobbins will miss the rest of the season with a foot injury. The running game sets up the pass and vice versa. Washington has problems of their own as Jaylen Daniels will miss yet another game. Marcus Mariota is a capable backup, not someone you want starting all season, but the offense doesn’t change much. As long as Terry McLaurin is on the field, the Commanders can put up offense. The main problem for Washington has been its defense, which you can compare to the Steelers’. So much individual talent and experience, but they have underperformed. Denver is light-years better at Mile High than on the road. Washington is in a good spot to stay within the number. Take the Commanders.
