Browns -12.5 over Lions (loss)
For the rest of the season, the good news for the Lions is they won’t go 0-17 this year as they grabbed against the Steelers last week.  The bad news is everything else about them.  Jared Goff is out today so we will see Tim Boyle get his first start.  There is nothing about this offense that gives you confidence heading into a road game in possible wet conditions.  The offensive line isn’t very good and will have to deal with Myles Garrett and friends today.  The Browns should be able to stop the run and pass to hold the Browns to a low point total.  Cleveland was beat up last week and draws the perfect opponent for a get right game.   Nick Chubb returns and Johnson has been a nice surprise as well this year.  This Lions team isn’t good against the pass so I expect the Browns to have the ability to be balanced on offense and to put up points.  Cleveland should control the clock from start to finish and win this one big.  Take the Browns.

Saints/Eagles Under 43 (loss)
There isn’t many games in the 2021 NFL era that have defenses 10X better than the offenses, but this is one of those games.  The Saints are on their 3rd string QB, missing their best running back in Kamara who is also a great pass catcher, missing tons of receivers and are banged up on the offensive line.  The Eagles don’t have the best skilled players on their offense and Jalen Hurts is still trying to get to the next level of being a decent QB.  The Saints have a top 10 defense that should keep this team in check.  The Eagles also have a ton of experienced and defensive talent that should take care of this banged up Saints offense.  Look for a low scoring field goal kicking game.  Take the Under.

Rotation #465
Texans +10 over Titans (win)
The public money is heaviest today on the Titans and really who could blame them, but this Titans team let a banged up New Orleans offense get some scores so I see the Texans doing the same thing.  Tyrod Taylor isn’t the best QB in the world, but he brings mobility to the table and that is hard to defend.  The Titans secondary is very thin right now and the corners are nothing to write home about.  The Texans have the offensive players to get open.   The Titans bread and butter is running the ball.  Adrian Peterson is filling in well for Derrick Henry, but he isn’t close to the talent Henry is.  The Titans identity is King Henry and with him out of the lineup anything can happen.  Remember the Jets game this year?  Another negative thing for the Titans today is 3 of their top 4 linebackers are out this game today.  Tim Kelly is a young offensive coordinator that should be able to attack this Titans Defense.  Take the Texans.

Rotation #469-470
Bengals/Raiders Over 50.5 (loss)
The Bengals needed the bye week as their secondary was getting torched and Joe Burrow was looking more like a young QB, but today they get a Raiders secondary that isn’t up to par with NFL talent as injuries have taken a toll and Burrow can have a field day today throwing the ball to his great receivers.  The Raiders were exposed last week by the Chiefs and there really is no reason for teams to do exactly what Kansas City did if they have the talent to do so.  The Bengals have that talent.  The Raiders should be able to do anything in the air right back to the Bengals as they have struggled in their secondary.  This should be a fun game in perfect conditions.  The Raiders are trying to get over the conflict in and out of their locker room over the last few weeks.  The Bengals are a decent opponent to try to get back into the winners circle.  This should be a good high scoring game.  Take the Over.

Rotation #475-476
Steelers/Chargers Over 47 (win)
Big Ben should be back in the lineup today, but the bigger news is this front seven for the Chargers.  Covid has hit the group hard and there is no way they are going to stop an NFL offense today.   The Chargers also are banged up in the secondary and that defensive side of the ball will look more like a preseason team.  The Steelers need a big day on offense and will never get a better chance than today.  Justin Herbert has cooled down a bit, but can get back on track against a Steelers secondary that has been weak this year and this defense just won’t be the same without TJ Watt in the lineup.  Both teams have defensive injuries that should have the opposing offense marching right down the field.  Take the Over.
