The Timberwolves were competitive the other night in their seven-point loss as the Spurs pulled ahead 2-1 in the series. Minnesota must be better on the offensive end, but they played well and were a bounce away from the game going the other way despite shooting just 38%. Minnesota is a beat-up team, but it has the size and experience to get back into the series and must take advantage of its home-court advantage. Minnesota must do a better job on Victor Wembanyama, as he dominated them and was the sole reason the Spurs are ahead in this series. The Astros should be able to make Abbott pay for his walks. Houston is having a lot of issues with its starting rotation, with a few guys on the IL. The Astros bullpen has been weak, so they must take advantage of their hot offense against lefties, or any chance they have in the AL West could fade in a hurry.
