Rotation # 647
Tennessee +2.5 over Houston (loss)
When it gets this late into the tournament, the oddsmakers are sharp, and finding value is next to impossible. Rick Barnes and Kelvin Sampson have been with their programs for over a decade and have the skill set to reach the final four. The defense will be the game’s name today as the total is very low, and we should see a slow-paced matchup where the first team to 50 will most likely win. Both teams have a lot of similarities as they rarely get out on the fast break and play a true half-court style of offense. Houston has gotten in trouble this year with the lack of rebounding on the defensive end and their inability to make easy shots. The Vols have the best three-point defense against the best defensive scoring team in the nation. This is an old-school type of game. The guard play of Chad Lanier, Zakai Zeigler, Jordan Gainey, and the rebounding ability of Igor Milicic will be just enough to advance to the Final Four. Take Tennessee.

Rotation # 646
Auburn -4.5 over Michigan State (win)
Tom Izzo is a great coach. He lost a lot of talent from a season ago and turned a team on the younger side one game from a Final Four appearance. Auburn has the size and experience advantage in this matchup and will look to take advantage of a Spartans team that doesn’t turn teams over and isn’t a great three-point shooting team. Auburn was the best team in the most talented conference this year. Johni Broome is a physical forward who is hard to slow down as he cleans up around the rim with easy buckets and secures rebounds. Michigan State has been a great second-half team this year, but you flirt with disaster every time you have to rely on a flawless stretch in the final part of the game. The Tigers will be the more physical team and should cut down the nets. Take Auburn.
