Rotation # 503-504
Pacers/Thunder Under 229 (loss)
Game one was an instant classic, with Indiana luring the Thunder to sleep and taking their first lead with .3 seconds left to steal it. Most of the contest was a defensive battle, but it didn’t reflect on the scoreboard as both teams scored many points in the final minutes of quarters. I expect another defensive battle without the barrage of hidden points at the end of quarters. I was shocked the UNDER in game one got as close as it did. The Pacers are a generous underdog, and I am unsure if the Thunder will blow another lead as well as their defense operates. Indiana has trouble rebounding and struggles with second-chance point attempts. Look for another low-scoring contest. Take the Under.

Rotation # 953
Phillies -105 over Pirates (loss)
Sanchez/Skenes
The Pirates are weak against left-handed pitching. Pittsburgh eked out a low-scoring victory yesterday against Ranger Suarez. Phillies starter Christopher Sanchez will look to keep the Pittsburgh offense in check with his strikeout ability. The Phillies don’t strike out much against right-handers, which is a plus against the young, sensational Paul Skenes. Pittsburgh’s strikeout rate against left-handers is the worst in the league. Look for Philadelphia to return the favor by squeaking a victory to avoid the sweep. Take the Phillies.
