The Tigers have the best batting average in baseball against left-handed pitchers. Reds starter Wade Miley has only pitched a few innings this year as he is returning from a year-long injury. More importantly, Miley faced awful allegations this week that he supplied Tyler Skaggs with the drugs that took his life back in 2019. True or untrue, that can’t help a pitcher’s focus. Tigers starter Sawyer Gipson-Long looked great the other night against the Orioles. Detroit has been great at home and should win. The money line is too high. We will take the run line. Take the Tigers -1.5 runs +110.
