The Royals laid an egg in the first two starts of the series against the Rockies and have a chance to avoid the sweep by going against rookie Tanner Gordon, who makes his debut. Kansas City has pop in their bats and should be able to get after the young rookie today. The Rockies bullpen is the worst in the league, so I don’t expect them to get out of this series without a hiccup. Kansas City starter Brady Singer has been impressive this year over his last couple of starts. Take the Royals run line.
