The Guardians struggle against left-handed pitching and have struck out more than any other team against lefties. Guardians starter Gavin Williams has been erratic with his control this year. Walks lead to runs. The Guardians are not good enough offensively to spot the opposing team’s free baserunners, which could turn into crooked-number innings. The A’s have a decent offense and should be able to put runs on the board. A’s starter Jeffrey Spring has looked okay this year and should keep his team in the game. Take the A’s.
