Bills -8.5 over Broncos (win)
The Broncos have been impressive this season, but the road in the NFL playoffs is challenging for any quarterback, let alone a rookie like Bo Nix. Sean Payton did a great job getting his team into the playoffs. The Broncos defense has been outstanding, but I don’t know if it’s enough to get the job done in a hostile environment. Buffalo has been battle-tested in playoff settings and is eager to learn from their mistakes; this is all new for Denver. You have to crawl before you walk, much like the Chargers looking lost yesterday with their new staff. Bills QB Josh Allen is a game changer and nightmare to defend, as his duel-threat ability always keeps a team guessing. The Bills have multiple receivers who can take over a game. James Cook can wear down the Broncos so that Allen can find targets like Khalil Shakir and tight end Dalton Kincaid. Today’s game will be challenging for the Broncos’ offense, which will have them searching for the missing offensive piece or two in the offseason that can propel them to a deep playoff run in the future. Take the Bills.

Rotation # 381
Packers +5.5 over Eagles (loss)
The Packers had a demanding schedule this year and have been battle-tested in the playoffs, playing well on the road last year. Josh Jacobs has run the ball exceptionally well this season, and Jordan Love has a lot of talent at the receiver position. What scares me about the Eagles is QB Jalen Hurts has not played a game in a month. The Eagle’s passing game has been non-existent this season, but lucky for them, they acquired Saquon Barkley, who, without a doubt, is the best running back in football this year. Philadelphia has started games extremely slow this season, and in the playoffs, it’s hard to gain momentum at home if you don’t start quickly. The Packer’s defense has been excellent this year, especially against the run. The Eagles’ passing defense is tops in the NFL, but I question if it’s due to their more manageable schedule. Philly has a huge advantage at home in front of a wild crowd, but it’s hard for a quarterback to be out for a month, step back in, and dominate when he didn’t play that well this year. Both teams are familiar with each other as they played in week one down in Brazil. I believe Green Bay can keep it close if they continue to create explosive plays and protect Love the way they have all year. Take the Packers.

Rotation # 383-384
Commanders/Bucs Over 50.5 (loss)
The Commanders did an outstanding job this year with a new coaching staff and a rookie QB. The road is hard for rookies, but one positive thing about Jayden Daniels is that he can run the football. Duel-threat quarterbacks are a nightmare to defend. Tampa wasn’t great at defending the pass, so I expect receiver Terry McLaurin to work his magic. Tampa QB Baker Mayfield has been great, completing 71% of his passes, as the Bucs hit for many explosive plays in the regular season. Washington couldn’t stop the run this season, so Bucky Irving will keep them honest, allowing Mayfield to throw downfield. Both teams love to get up to the line and snap the ball, creating more plays per game. Nothing hurts an over-wager like a team wasting all 40 seconds on the play clock before they snap the ball. Tampa is the better team, but their defense is vulnerable right now, with key injuries in the secondary. Washington should put up a fight and will make this a high-scoring game. Take the Over.
