Browns vs Steelers
The Cleveland Browns are in a playoff game! It’s an exciting time for that city, but right on cue here comes the injuries and the covid. This team just doesn’t have the practice time or the the bodies in the trenches to compete today. Cleveland has one of the best offensive lines in the NFL and will be missing Joel Bitonio and many others on this line are questionable for this game. We can say the same thing on the defensive line as Oliver Vernon is on IR and Sheldon Richardson and Myles Garrett are banged up. The Browns have also been hit hard in the secondary as Denzel Ward is out and false positives kept Terrance Mitchell out of practice all week. Covid also hit a few backup positions. The Steelers are healthy, have a great offensive line that doesn’t allow sacks, tons of talented receivers and a number 1 rated defense. Cleveland just got by the Steelers JV team last week to just make the playoffs. Much respect to Cleveland this year, but they are in a tough spot. Take the Steelers.
Nebraska +6.5 over Indiana (loss)
Indiana forward Trayce Jackson-Davis is fun to watch. Al Durham is a great guard, but this team is missing a few players as Brunk is out with a back injury and Armann Franklin just went down as well. Depth will be a concern. Nebraska brought in a bunch of transfers and have some real fire power. I am not so sure Indiana is going to be able to handle all the guards on the floor tonight. This game should go to the wire. Take Nebraska
