Vikings -10 over Jaguars (loss)
Vikings/Jags Over 51  (push)
Mike Glennon got the start last week for the Jags and he looked OK, but he was aided by the refs a lot. This is a Jags team that has a few key receivers banged up and they certainly can score against this young Vikings Defense.  There is a big upside in Jacksonville’s running game and if they get the right offensive line James Robinson can be special.  The Jags can’t stop the run or the pass on defense so I believe this is a game in which Minnesota will be balanced by running the ball with Davin Cook and then Kirk Cousins will hit his targets.  Having Adam Thielen back is the key for this offense and really spreads the field.  The total has flown over when the Vikings have been at home this year.  I believe it does so again today, because I see the Vikings scoring well over 35 points.  Due to injuries, Jacksonville just does not have the bodies in the secondary to stop an NFL offense.   Take the Vikings and the Over.

Saints -3 over Falcons (win)
The Saints Defense is the key to this game.  Matt Ryan and this offense is just not the same when Julio Jones is out or banged up.  Last week this Falcons team did win impressively against the Raiders, but it was all done by their defense.  I just don’t see the Saints being careless with the ball like Vegas was.  New Orleans is a more physical team on both sides of the ball and even with a third string QB can simply hand the ball off and beat up this Falcons Defense.  Raheem Morris should get a lot of credit for taking over as coach, but Atlanta just isn’t balanced with their running game and surprisingly lacks the offensive weapons that we are so used to seeing year after year.  This is an important division game and I just don’t see this New Orleans team slipping up.  Take the Saints.

Browns +4.5 over Titans (win)
Browns backers have been frustrated this year because on 3 occasions they have blown the cover in the craziest of ways, but you can’t hold grudges when it comes to sports gambling.  Both teams have excellent running games.  The Titans Derrick Henry is the man.  The Browns Nick Chubb is the man.  The Titans are a little banged up on the offensive line and the Browns get Myles Garrett back today.  Garrett makes all the difference in the world and is the key to pressuring the QB and forcing turnovers.  I don’t want to say Tennessee is overrated, but their defense is average and can be taken advantage of.  Cleveland should have a balanced attack running the ball with the Chubb/Hunt combo and then Baker Mayfield should be able to find his downfield targets.  I like the value with the underdog in this spot.  Take Cleveland.

UC Riverside -5 over Denver (win)
UC Riverside is playing rock solid defense to start this year.  The Highlanders just beat a PAC 12 school in Washington and doing it on the defensive end is what is really impressive.  This is not a team that is going to light up the scoreboard on offense, but today they get a Denver team that is a lot smaller and has yet to prove anything with their one win coming outside of D1 play.  Denver is not a quality basketball team and the size and defensive effort from the Highlanders will be too much.  Take UC Riverside.
