There were preseason football games, so you might have glanced at Atlanta 21 and New York 3 and thought it was a football game, but the Braves embarrassed the Mets in front of their fans. Atlanta is in the driver’s seat to make a deep playoff run, but their hot hitting wears off tonight as the Mets have the better starter with Kodai Senga on the mound. Braves starter Yonny Chirinos lacks strikeout power and should get knocked around in a revenge game. The Braves exerted too much energy last night and will have a lackluster performance on the ESPN Sunday Night Game of the Week. Take the Mets.
