Rotation # 554
Trail Blazers +5.5 over Spurs (loss)
We will soon find out whether first-year head coach Tiago Splitter and the Blazers can handle the pressure, as they are in a 2-1 hole, desperate for a win before the series shifts back to San Antonio. The storyline will be the status of Spurs center Victor Wembanyama after missing game three with a concussion. Like I said the other day, making assumptions in this industry will get you crushed, but there isn’t much need to rush him back after winning game three without him. The Trailblazers played well in the first half, entering the break with a lead. San Antonio had a fantastic second half, sparked by Stephon Castle and Dylan Harper. Once again, making assumptions gets you crushed, but I highly doubt we are going to see sixty points combined from both of them again. Portland can create second-chance points by being outstanding on the offensive boards. If the Trailblazers can keep their turnovers down again, they have a chance to make the game close again. We will take the points as the home underdog. Take Portland.

Rotation # 952
Braves -1.5 runs over Phillies +120 (win)
The Phillies broke their ugly losing streak last night, getting back in the game in a fluky way, but they couldn’t care less because a win is a win. The Braves are one of the best teams in baseball against right-handed pitching. The Phillies are by far the worst team in baseball against lefties. We will keep going against them until they turn it around. Chris Sale just faced this same Phillies team a week ago and shut them down. The money line is too high. We will take the run line. Take the Braves -1.5 runs +120.
