It will be a great day for football at Neyland Stadium as the No. 1-ranked Longhorns look to continue their success and keep the title of the nation’s best team. Texas is led by quarterback Arch Manning and has playmakers in Hollywood Smothers, Raleek Brown, Ryan Wingo, and Cam Coleman. Tennessee is an outstanding team, but how will five-star freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon handle his first marquee matchup in his first SEC game? If he can beat the No. 1 team in football, you tip your cap and move on. I like Texas a bit more in the backfield, at receiver, and in the trenches. Take Texas.

It will be a windy day thanks to the Nor’easter in College Park, Maryland. Gusts could reach 25–30 mph. Maryland’s running back room is a mess, and the Terrapins need Iverson Howard to stay healthy with the key backups out. UCLA’s offensive line lacks experience, so protecting Nico Iamaleava long enough to make big throws could be difficult, and the wind could further limit the passing game. Neither team has elite receivers who can take over, especially in these conditions. Field goals could be an adventure, too. Look for a lower-scoring game. Take the Under.

UCF will be without starting quarterback Alonzo Barnett today. Backup Keyone Jenkins will start and make his first-ever start against a Power Conference school. The Knights’ running game needs work, and Jenkins is not an overly mobile quarterback. UCF has also shuffled its inexperienced offensive line because of Owen Spell’s absence. TCU is excited to get Jordan Dwyer on the field for the first time this year, which should boost its passing game. The Horned Frogs have a size advantage at receiver and in the secondary, and they can attack the middle of the UCF defense without linebacker Lewis Carter. TCU is the more physical team. Take TCU.

It will be a great evening for football at Husky Stadium in Seattle. Minnesota beat Akron last week but looks to rebound against Power Conference talent after an embarrassing home loss to Mississippi State two weeks ago. Darius Taylor returns at running back, which should open the passing game for Drake Lindsey. The Gophers have an experienced offensive line and hope Ashton Beers can play tonight. Minnesota will look to attack a Washington secondary with two starters, Emmanuel Karnley and Rashwan Clark, in question. Washington also has running back issues due to injuries. The good news is that quarterback Desmond Williams is mobile, and he has plenty of talented receivers, led by Dezmen Roebuck. Minnesota should be able to put together a balanced attack and stay in the game. Take Minnesota. Take the Over. No Parlays.
