Rotation #136
Notre Dame -12 over California (loss)
Notre Dame was upset last week by Marshall. Marshall is the best team in the Sun Belt and by no means is a pushover. Cal comes across the country for an early start on their time clocks and will play a team that embarrassed their fans just one week ago. The Golden Bears don’t have an offense, and their defense returns just three starters from a year ago. Cal is known for their past solid defense, but it’s tough to play at a high level with all the turnover they had on both sides of the football. I don’t want to disrespect CAL fans, but the current squad isn’t good. I believe this is only a 12-point line because Notre Dame was upset last week. I don’t see CAL putting points up on the board today. The Irish are hungry for their first win and should get it today against weak competition. Take Notre Dame.

Rotation #157-158
Kansas/Houston Over 58 (win)
Kansas was down 14-0 last week in a blink of an eye. Many people thought here we go again with this Jayhawks team, but then they torched the WVU Defense in an upset win. Houston’s Defense isn’t anything to write home about, but it does return more starters than WVU’s Defense. Kansas has developed a lot of offensive talent as most of the offense is back from last year, and QB Jalon Daniels has been an excellent duel threat QB. Many bettors are on Kansas +9 today because of what they saw last week. I am not so sure their Defense is good enough yet to back again this week. Clayton Tune leads the way at QB for Houston. Look for Head Coach Dana Holgorsen to put his foot on the gas this week. Houston played two overtime games and will need to learn to put teams away. Look for a lot of scoring. Take the Over.

Rotation #167-168
Mississippi State/LSU Over 53 (loss)
Mike Leach returns most of his starters and looks to throw the ball all over the yard against LSU. Will Rogers is a great QB who has not missed his targets much this year. The Tigers return their top three offensive receivers, and many other players have stepped up. Jayden Daniels is an excellent addition from Arizona State and leads the team in passing and rushing. Daniels is a true duel threat QB who can put points on the board. Look for both teams to do enough to make this a high-scoring game.  Take the Over.
