The Red River Rivalry is always fun and both teams will have their fans in attendance. Texas has been super impressive to start the year. This new coaching staff really has the offense playing at a high level. Oklahoma might be the most complete team in football as they are just stacked with talent. This team has more offensive talent than some conferences have combined. Spencer Rattler should put up a lot of scoring drives. This should be a really high scoring game and then in the end this game will come down to Lincoln Riley’s staff, rock solid offensive line and skill players having more experience and talent. Oklahoma has let a lot of teams hang around this year so they are not taking anybody for granted. Take Oklahoma and the Over.

Penn State +1.5 over Iowa (loss)
Kirk Ferentz should be considered coach of the year if his team continues at the pace they are on. This is a team that lost a lot of talent, but they preach playing great defense and they can run the football. Penn State has one of their better teams with senior QB Sean Clifford looking much improved this year. This team also has a great defense. At the end of the day I believe this game comes down to the players on the field and the talent just being more with Penn State. James Franklin has the ability to get his players to play well on the road and I just think Iowa doesn’t have enough offensive firepower to win this game outright. Take Penn State.

Virginia Tech +1 over Notre Dame (loss)
Notre Dame doesn’t really have an identity. This is a team that got themselves a bug win at Wisconsin and then turns around and loses at home to Cincinnati. Weaker teams have played Notre Dame to the wire this year. VTech isn’t going to burn many teams with huge offensive days, but they are tough and play solid defense. The Irish had high expectations for this season and this could be one of those games where Cincinnati beats them twice as the focus from last weeks loss carries over into tonight’s game. This building will be rocking and always draws a wild crowd. The Hokies have a big offensive line with the experience to compete in a big game like this. Virginia Tech has so much experience at all three levels of their defense and should get themselves a hard fought home win. Take Virginia Tech.

Utah/USC Over 52 (win)
USC is already on their second coach this season, but they have a lot of talent. This team was hit hard with the injury bug to start the season, but I think they can crack this Utah Defense that is really banged up in the secondary tonight. The Utes are at a turning point as they are 2-2 on the year, but have not played their best football against inferior opponents. Utah has good running backs and should be able to take advantage of a USC secondary that doesn’t have much depth. This should be a great game in perfect weather conditions. Take the Over.
