Rotation #380
Texas Tech -1 over Kansas State (loss)
Texas Tech has the advantage of being the home team today and I think Henri Colombi has filled in very well for the Red Raiders.  This is a team that lost a few running backs, but still has talent and they have a lot of weapons who can catch the ball.  Kansas State has not been good with their third down defense this year.  The Wildcats are banged up on the defensive line and the lack of a pass rush will allow Texas Tech the time to run their routes and get wide open.  I really liked this OVER today, but after checking the weather the wind is going to be gusting around and all it takes is one long drive with a missed FG to have you tearing up the ticket.  Kansas State has weapons of their own on offense with Skylar Thompson back to near 100 percent at QB.  This is a shifty team with a lot of speed, but I think the Red Raiders Defense can make the stands needed to win this game at home.  Take Texas Tech.

Rotation #346
Minnesota -4.5 over Maryland (win)
Minnesota lost a home game to Bowling Green a few weeks back that just can’t be explained, but PJ Fleck has done his job as a head coach and the team won two straight.  It’s bad losses that define the character of a team.  Bad teams go into a tailspin and well coached teams use it as ammo.  Maryland had a lot of turnover from last year and the bottom line is Mike Locksley is just not a coach I trust on the road.  Minnesota has a big injury early in the season at running back, but now the backups are starting to get the swing of things.  Look for the Gopher Offensive Line to  protect the QB and to open up big holes against this soft front seven.  When the Golden Gophers decide to pass they will be able to attack this soft secondary that just doesn’t have a lot of experience at the corner position.  Take Minnesota.

Rotation #405
San Diego State +3.5 over Airforce (win)
I don’t like to go against Military school triple option teams.  It’s always a game that is too frustrating to watch because your team never has the ball, but in this case San Diego State can play that same game and they have the defense to slow down this attack.  I don’t want to say Air Force is overrated because they are well coached, but this is a team that lost just about all of their best players on the offensive line and on defense from a season ago and now here they are in a true test against a top 25 team.  This should be a fast paced moving game with a ton of running. San Diego State has the receivers to get open when the defense stuffs the box.  I am not scared when it comes to the Falcons throwing the ball. In the end I think the Aztecs have the players, coaching and style of play to win this game.  Take San Diego State.

Rotation #355-356
NC State/Miami Over 53 (win)
This game was a thriller last year with Miami outlasting the Wolfpack in a high scoring game.  The QB’s have changed, but there is still a lot of offensive skill players on both teams.  Miami is banged up at the running back position so I expect them to throw the ball more.  NC State is balanced on offense and are the better overall team, but sometimes teams just have your number and that seems to be the case with Miami.  Dave Doeren has won games against every other team in the conference, but has yet to do so against the Hurricanes.   If NC State beats Miami tonight they will not take their foot off the gas at anytime when doing so.   The Wolfpack have a great defense, but Miami is still one of those teams that have their number and will put up points on the board.  This is a game that should be just like the game last year.  Take the Over.

Rotation #373-374
Utah/Oregon State Over 56.5 (win)
The Oregon State Offensive Line has been opening holes for the running game and Chance Nolan has filled in great at QB.  Utah is no longer that boring offense that runs every single down.  Cameron Rising can sling the ball around to talent receivers.  Both teams have the ability to score quickly.  Both quarterbacks were not the original plan this year, but both seem to be the perfect fit for their offense.  Both offensive lines in this game should be able to keep the QB clean.   Oregon State might have to throw the ball more today which should be good for this total as the Utah run defense is pretty good.  This Utes Secondary lacks a lot of depth so their is room for big play strikes.  Look for a high scoring game.  Take the Over.
