Rotation # 347-348
Notre Dame/Georgia Tech UNDER 49.5 (win)
Notre Dame is trying to keep its top 15 ranking as it heads to Bobby Dodd Stadium to face the Yellow Jackets. The Irish were already upset by a less talented team this year when NIU beat them in their South Bend. The Irish lack an exceptional offensive line like past teams had. Injuries up front will set their true potential back. Georgia Tech will be without QB Haynes King, which will hurt them in the passing game, but also with the mobility King has. Jamal Haynes is a good running back, but the Irish should be able to contain him as they can focus more on him and less on the QB option. Both teams are sound on the defensive side of the football and should be able to make enough plays to make it a lower-scoring game. Take the Under.

Rotation # 373
USC -7.5 over Maryland (loss)
USC is looking to make their mark in the inaugural BIG 10 season and trying to get the awful taste of a blown game at home last weekend to Penn State. The Trojans need a punching bag and will keep their foot on the gas if they have a lead. I wouldn’t say I like Maryland’s offensive line, as it consists of a lot of players who don’t have much experience at the college level. USC Head Coach Lincoln Riley will let his QB Miller Moss sling the ball around, and the Trojans should have a solid day on the ground. The Terrapins are thin in the secondary and will be in trouble if Dante Trader doesn’t return this week. The Trojans put up too much offense in this game. Take USC.

Rotation # 387
Colorado +2.5 over Arizona (win)
Colorado and Arizona were familiar foes in the PAC 12 and want to elevate their status in the BIG 12. Colorado has been playing well and lost a close game late in the 4th quarter to a well-coached Kansas State team. The injury news is better for the Buffs, as Travis Hunter should play. Arizona will be without Treydan Stukes and Gunner Maldonado for the rest of the year, so their secondary will be an issue each week. Colorado loves to attack and will have wide-open players all day against a beat-up Wildcats defense. Arizona has an excellent young quarterback, Noah Fifita, but I like the Buffaloes on both sides of the football a bit more. Take Colorado.

Rotation # 405
Texas A&M -19.5 over Mississippi State (loss)
Mississippi State is coming off two brutal games in which it covered the spread against #1 Texas and #5 Georgia. Part of me thinks the opponents didn’t try as hard, but the Bulldogs competed, and I give them credit. The problem is that Mississippi State has redshirted a few players, and some have left the program. They are saving talent for next season. QB Blake Shapen will miss the rest of the year, which puts much pressure on young Michael Van Buren. The Aggies have a massive offensive line and should get the running backs running wild. The Aggies are better on both sides of the ball and should win large enough to cover the spread. Take Texas A&M.

Rotation # 339
Kentucky -2 over Florida (loss)
After tearing his ACL, Florida’s starting quarterback, Graham Mertz, is out for the year. Many fans wanted the young freshman sensation DJ Lagway to be QB anyway. They now got their wish. Lagway is still a freshman and has yet to play mistake-free to be able to trust him for 60 minutes. Lagway doesn’t scare anyone with his mobility yet, either. Florida has been struck with the injury bug as their offense is down many quality receivers and running backs. I think there is too much missing today from the Gators to beat a hungry Kentucky team that plays outstanding defense. Mark Stoops will have the Wildcats ready to play and has already proven they can win big road games as they knocked off Ole Miss a few weeks back. Let’s go with the healthier team. Take Kentucky.
