Rotation #209
Kansas -3 over Oklahoma State (loss)
Oklahoma State struggled in the BIG 12 last year, and they will this year with a new defensive coordinator and a less-than-average offense. The Cowboys can’t score enough in big games. Kansas has a unique QB rotation where Jason Bean can step in for Jalon Daniels and run the offense to its full potential. The Jayhawks have great running backs and many players that can catch the ball. Kansas is known more for their offense, but they have an excellent secondary and should be able to stop an Oklahoma State team that doesn’t run the football as well as in the past. Take Kansas.

Rotation #212
Texas Tech -1.5 over Kansas State (loss)
Texas Tech/Kansas State Over 58.5 (win)
We have a side and total play. No parlays, and treat both as straight wagers. Texas Tech has two outstanding running backs, Tajh Brooks and Cam’Ron Valdez. The Red Raiders have a decent offensive line that will run the ball, opening up the big chunk of plays when the QB throws the ball. Kansas State has an extremely weak secondary that the Red Raiders should exploit. Will Howard is a good QB for the Wildcats, and Treshaun Ward is a great running back. Kansas State has a stacked offensive line and should be able to move the ball today. Texas Tech has the overall talent edge and has the luxury of playing at home. Look for a high-scoring game with the Red Raiders winning. Take Texas Tech and the Over.

Rotation #215
USC +3 over Notre Dame (loss)
USC QB Caleb Williams and Notre Dame QB Sam Hartman were Heisman contenders to start the year. It’s over for Hartman, but Williams is the front-runner and is fun to watch. Louisville exploited Notre Dame, and I expect USC to pile on points tonight, as their offense is elite for a college football team. Notre Dame doesn’t have the best running game and lacks big-play receivers. USC has them both. The Irish defense is good but needs more confidence and can only hold a team off for so long. The Trojans made the long trip and are all business about coming away with a win. Take USC.

Rotation #189
UCLA +3.5 over Oregon State (loss)
UCLA has been outstanding on defense under new defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn. The Bruins offense is a work in progress as Ethan Gabers matures each week at quarterback. The Bruins run the ball well and have a lot of great targets to throw the ball, too. Oregon State would be a powerhouse if they had the receivers UCLA does. Tonight’s game is a battle of two teams that were 6-3 in the PAC 12 last year, and both coaches are in their seventh year coaching the program. I like the generous spread we get as the underdog. The Bruins are more well-rounded than the Beavers and should cover the spread tonight. Take UCLA.
