Rotation # 155-156
Georgia/Mississippi State Over 56.5 (win)
Georgia takes to the road, trying to advance another week and maintain their high ranking. QB Gunner Stockton has improved as a runner, which makes the offense a lot more unpredictable. Georgia has an outstanding running back room, and their receiver room is just as good. Georgia has a massive offensive line that opens up holes and helps protect the QB. Look for Georgia to move the ball and to put up a lot of points. Mississippi State has an excellent quarterback in Blake Shapen, who stands in the pocket and makes accurate throws. Davon Booth and Fluff Bothwell are good running backs, and Mississippi State is in the same boat as Georgia, as they have excellent receivers and a massive offensive line. Look for both teams to do enough for this game to be high-scoring. Take the Over.

Rotation # 141
Syracuse +29.5 over Miami
I say it all the time. You shouldn’t wager on a team you think can’t win the game. We will break that rule for a few reasons. How will Miami respond after likely being knocked out of the playoff running in their overtime loss to SMU? The Hurricanes are without their best running back, Mark Fletcher, and receiver CJ Daniels. Their secondary also takes a hit with O.J. Frederique being unavailable today. Do we really trust QB Carson Beck right now? Syracuse isn’t a good team, but running back Yasin Willis is a dangerous enough threat to break off big runs. QB Rickie Collins was thrown into action after Steve Angeli went down, but the Orange does have talented receivers who can make plays. Today’s spread is relatively high, and there is no doubt that Miami is more than capable of covering. However, we will take our chances with the Orange, as they have a few favorable advantages that might keep them in the game enough to cover. The Orange have made a few positional coaching changes and will look to be competitive today. Take Syracuse.

Rotation # 162
TCU -7.5 over Iowa State
TCU/Iowa State Over 57.5
Iowa State has an outstanding game manager with Rocco Becht under center. The Cyclones can run the ball effectively and have an experienced and massive offensive line that creates lanes and gives the quarterback more time to throw. TCU QB Josh Hoover will look to attack a Cyclones defense that has a few question marks on the defensive line, is missing a key linebacker, and is without a few starters and a few reserves in the secondary. The Horned Frogs have a balanced running attack that can keep the defense on their heels. Home-field advantage means a lot. Look for both teams to compete, but TCU head coach Sonny Dykes should exploit the Cyclones’ defensive injuries. Take TCU and take the Over. No parlays.

Rotation # 152
Virginia -6.5 over Wake Forest
Wake Forest had a lot of promise heading into last week’s game against Florida State and suffered a demoralizing loss. I’m not sure if the Demon Deacons are mature enough with the experience to shake that off and get back to work against #12 Virginia. The Demon Deacons’ defense was a tad overrated, and it showed last week. The Virginia staff will look to replicate what FSU did. I prefer the Cavs in this contest, especially in the trenches. Running back J’Mari Taylor should soften up the defense enough for Chandler Morris to find receivers running downfield. I don’t think Wake Forest is talented enough in the passing game to mount a comeback if they fall behind early. Running back Demond Claiborne is a bright spot. However, I expect the UVA front seven to keep a close eye on him and dare QB Robby Ashford to try to beat them. Take Virginia.
