Rotation #345
Illinois +14.5 over Minnesota (win)
Minnesota has one of the best offensive lines in football, but this team is down to their 5th option at running back as transfers and injuries have crushed this running game.  PJ Fleck is not much a gambler so he doesn’t mind sitting on a 10 point lead and chewing up the clock.  This is a big spread to cover against an Illinois team that has won big games already and has the talent to take teams to the wire.  The Illini have decent offensive line in regards to experienced players who have played in big road games and they have a couple really good running backs.  I don’t think Illinois is a better program, but this is a huge spread where everything would have to go just right for Minnesota.  This is a team that can’t move the ball an inch when they get into scoring funks.  I think the Illini can keep this game close.  Take Illinois.

Rotation #393-394
Michigan State/Purdue Over 53.5 (win)
Michigan State pulled an amazing comeback last week after Michigan looked like they were going to run away with the game.  Kenneth Walker has been such a great addition to this team that he is a front runner for Heisman.  The Spartans offensive line is opening up holes for the running game which I don’t think Purdue has the defensive talent to stop.  The Boilermakers secondary is thin so I expect Michigan State to be able to hit the deep ball because of how well they can run the ball.  Football is such a simple game if you have the talent to stay balanced.  Purdue has a lot of great offensive players and are slowly getting healthy at running back.  David Bell is going to be a super star in the NFL and he can take it to the house on any passing play thrown his way.  I believe both teams will be able to move their offenses to put up points.  Take the Over.

Rotation #376
Arkansas -4.5 over Mississippi State (loss)
I like Arkansas here because they are at home and I am not thrilled with the Bulldogs offensive line and I believe this Razorbacks defense is talented at all three levels as they are loaded with experience and the crowd noise is going to make it hard for Mississippi State to communicate with each other on defense.  Both teams have talented receivers, but again the crowd and home field advantage is a huge asset in a game like this.  Look for KJ Jefferson to be a nightmare with his duel threat ability and for the big offensive line to open up a lot of running lanes.  Take Arkansas.

Rotation #392
Iowa State -6.5 over Texas (win)
Texas has the offensive talent to stay in games, but they are banged up at the skill positions and this is a game where having an experienced coaching staff helps the home team.  Texas still has a brand new staff which makes it tough playing on the road.  Iowa State usually takes care of fundamentals and don’t beat themselves which makes teams have to really work for victories.   The Cyclones has a huge offensive line that will give Brock Purdy options to run or find his receivers.  Breece Hall should be able to have a big day running the ball as well.  I don’t know if Texas can play 4 full quarters on the road.  Take Iowa State.
