Rotation #360
Oklahoma -3.5 over Baylor  (loss)
Baylor has no running backs on the depth chart from last year but got a gem with freshman Richard Reese. Today’s game will be a test for Reese and the Baylor offense on the road. Both teams enter the day 5-3, and one section will feel more comfortable about their season by day’s end. OU is the better team and will control the game, with Dillon Gabriel finding open targets. Baylor is a great team, but they have yet to face the top teams in the BIG 12. The home field is a massive advantage for the Sooners. Take Oklahoma.

Rotation #405-406
West Virginia/Iowa State Over 49.5 (loss)
West Virginia comes into this week with one of the worst defenses in college football. Last week their defense was the reason why they couldn’t upset TCU. Iowa State has a great defense, but I believe JT Daniels will put up points today. The Cyclones played well against non-conference teams, but good offensive teams in the BIG 12 can move the ball against them. WVU gets running back Tony Mathis back this week and should have a more balanced attack to score points. I don’t trust the Mountaineers’ defense against anybody. Look for a high-scoring game. Take the Over.

Rotation #357
Texas -2.5 over Kansas State (win)
Kansas State has always mimicked the NFL game, striving for mistake-free football. The Wildcats have a gifted Deuce Vaughn at running back and two great QBs. Adrian Martinez missed last week, and Will Howard let them to one of the most significant blowout victories you will ever see. The Wildcats are a good football team, but the general public judges them based on last week. Kansas State can’t stop the running game, as Bijon Robinson should have another field day. Quinn Ewers has plenty of targets to throw the ball to, and I believe the Longhorns will get the win. Take Texas.

Rotation #422
Notre Dame +3.5 over Clemson (win)
We played Notre Dame earlier in the season, and they never had a shot in the game. The Irish have improved the last couple of weeks, and Clemson is begging to get beat on the other side. Clemson is sitting at 8-0, but in almost every game, they have won in the final minute with their defense. Clemson has been shaky at QB the last few weeks, and I believe the Notre Dame defense will make plays today. Look for the Irish to be effective when running the ball. Notre Dame Stadium is a tough place to play, and the general public is wrong tonight. Take Notre Dame.

Rotation #962
Astros -140 over Phillies (win)
Valdez/Wheeler
Picking a winner in this series is challenging because both teams can get red-hot. I like the Astros for two reasons. The first is because Houston has all the momentum tonight, and the second is Framber Valdez. Valdez is a great pitcher, but the most important stat is he does not give up home runs. I see Philly putting up much offense without hitting home runs, as they have not been good with runners in scoring position as of late. Houston was the better regular-season team and thrived at home. Take the Astros.
