Rotation # 382
Houston -13.5 over West Virginia (loss)
West Virginia has high hopes with freshman QB Scotty Fox, but he is their 4th option as the quarterbacks in front of him are dealing with injuries. Regular starter Nicco Marchiol is out with a foot injury. The Mountaineers are thin at running back as Jahiem White is out for the year, and Jaylan Knighton couldn’t suit up this season with eligibility issues. Jaden Bray was a significant loss at receiver for West Virginia. The offensive line is inexperienced and is without a few starters today. WVU will have its work cut out for it putting points up on the board. Houston is playing solid football behind the duel-threat ability of QB Conner Weigman and running back Dean Connors. The Cougars should win the game in the trenches and secure the double-digit win. Take Houston.

Rotation # 341-342
Louisville/Virginia Tech Over 53.5 (loss)
The Hokies of Virginia Tech had early-season drama after firing Brent Fry after their embarrassing ODU loss, but they have battled back with a few key wins. Getting bowl eligible would be a stretch, but the possibility is still on the table. Veteran QB Kyron Drones is a dual-threat that is a nightmare to contain once he leaves the pocket. The Hokies have a good running back room and have talented receivers if the offensive line can hold up enough for Drones to throw. Louisville QB Miller Moss will stand in the pocket and throw the ball to many talented receivers down the field. Moss will look to pick on a Hokies secondary that isn’t great and is missing a lot of depth. Isaac Brown is a good running back who will keep the Cardinals’ offense balanced enough to keep the Hokies guessing on defense. Louisville shouldn’t have any problems moving the ball. Look for a high-scoring game. Take the Over.

Rotation # 327-328
Notre Dame/Boston College Under 55.5 (win)
The weather in Chestnut Hill will be windy today, which could affect longer throws down the field and field goal attempts. Notre Dame will look to feed Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price and chew up the clock against a struggling Boston College team. WR Jaden Greathouse will not play this afternoon. Notre Dame is missing a few offensive linemen so that silly penalties could set them behind the chains. The Irish have not played a game since October 18th, so that rust could be a factor. Not many believe in the Boston College running game, as their offensive line isn’t talented enough to win in the trenches against Notre Dame. Look for a quick-moving match with the Irish winning the time of possession. The game will not be competitive enough to reach the number. Take the Under.

Rotation # 369
Virginia -6 over CAL (win)
The Virginia Cavaliers are the #15 team in the country, looking to get into the ACC Title Game, and can’t afford a slip-up on the road against a CAL team missing its top two running backs. The Golden Bears don’t have much talent at receiver, and their QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele isn’t a mobile threat, allowing the Cavs’ defense to focus more on the skilled players. Virginia QB Chandler Morris is playing well and should be able to feed running back J’Mari Taylor enough to keep the CAL defense unbalanced, leading to multiple long strikes against a weak CAL secondary. Virginia is better on both sides of the ball and should grab the road win. Take Virginia.

Rotation # 332
Florida State -10.5 over Wake Forest (win)
Wake Forest won at the horn against SMU in a wild, mistake-filled football game. The Demon Deacons are playing outstanding defense, but I am not sure their offense will do enough, as they don’t have the best receivers, and their offensive line might struggle on the road. Florida State has a talented running back room, and QB Tommy Castellanos is a dual-threat nightmare. The Noles have a senior-led offensive line and many gifted receivers. FSU is balanced enough to confuse the Wake Forest defense, which might be a tad overrated in the eyes of the public. The Seminoles are better in the trenches on both sides of the ball and should secure the double-digit home victory.
