There is a couple things that I don’t like about Georgetown. The Hoyas don’t have a good three point defense and they are brutal at forcing turnovers and protecting the ball themselves. Empty trips and extra trips at this point in the season will get you beat 99% of the time. The PAC 12 is a lot better than advertised. Colorado is a team I believe can get to the final four. This is a team that has the physical size advantage and the better scorers. Colorado is the more experienced team with the more experienced coach. The Hoyas have made great strides this year, but I think they come up short today. Take Colorado.

UNCG +10.5 over Florida State (win)
Florida State had a golden opportunity to win the ACC Title against a team they towered over and couldn’t rebound. The Noles went on to lose the game because of a record number of turnovers. This is a super athletic team, but they get in their own way. UNCG is not as talented, but they value and protect the basketball. This Spartans team is pretty solid at keeping teams from second point chances on the glass and they grab defensive rebounds. Wes Miller is a good young coach who actually played in the ACC and knows Leonard Hamilton well. Isaiah Miller is a guy who could play on an ACC level. This seems like a bad matchup for UNCG because of the size difference, but FSU struggles against quicker guards. It’s really hard to come back after such a demoralizing loss. The pressure of the NCAA Tournament will also lead to move turnovers. This is an early start time and we might see UNCG get out to a quick lead that FSU fumbles to comeback from. Take UNCG. Give the money line a shot at +465.

USC -6.5 over Drake (win)
Drake is a fan favorite as they are the best team in the nation against the spread. Now this Drake team is in the tournament on the biggest stage and Vegas wants their money back! Drake has key injuries at the end of the year that I don’t think they can overcome. USC has better athletes and superior size like nothing Drake has seen in the Missouri Valley. I think the Trojans will be too much to handle on the glass today. This team should limit second chance points and create second chance points of their own. PAC 12 competition has been good this year and I believe the Trojans win this by double digits. Take USC.
