Rotation # 605

Oregon +8.5 over Michigan State (loss)

Oregon has lost four straight and is looking to return to the winner’s circle. Michigan State is on a two-game losing streak themselves. Today’s spread might be too high. Ducks center Nathan Bittle has improved tremendously after being out for most of last season. Jackson Shelstad, Keeshawn Barthelemy, and Villanova transfer TJ Bamba are playing well at the guard position. The Ducks have the experience and length to stay in the game down to the wire. Take Oregon.

Rotation # 663

Kansas -4 over Kansas State (loss)

Kansas has already gone through its bump in the road, losing games it should have won and enduring injuries to key players. The Jayhawks are healthy again. Kansas State plays very well and can shock teams when they play their best, but the Jayhawks are a better team from top to bottom. Zeke Mayo and Dajuan Harris are great guards, and KJ Adams and Hunter Dickinson can use their size to get to the basket. Freshman Flory Bidunga is turning into a great shotblocker. Look for KU coach Bill Self to have his team ready to play in Manhattan. Take Kansas.

Rotation # 690

Syracuse -7 over Boston College (win)

Neither team is making noise in the ACC this season, but Syracuse is a better program, and it’s tough for opponents to play in the Wireless Dome. Boston College has yet to win a road game, and the status of their biggest and strongest player, Chad Venning, is in doubt. Syracuse won the prior meeting on the road and could be in for a much easier time if Venning misses or is limited in this game. The Orange, as poorly as they have played, have been much better than the Eagles in almost every category and have played a much more rigid schedule. It won’t be pretty, but JJ Starling should lead the way for the Orange. Take Syracuse.
