Rotation #639
BYU -1.5 over Kansas State (loss)
Kansas State is a perfect 15-0 at home and winners of two straight. BYU has lost two straight, so it’s interesting to see the linemakers make them favorites in this game. The Cougars match up well against the Wildcats, as they have good size and are a veteran basketball team. BYU has one of the hottest offenses in college basketball and will test the outstanding Kansas State defense. One key factor in this game is BYU senior guard Spencer Johnson, who made the trip after his wife gave birth hours ago. The Cougars will be extra motivated to play well for him and his family. Take BYU.

Rotation #641
Duke +2.5 over Wake Forest (loss)
Wake Forest has improved tremendously, considering they were 8th in the ACC last season. Steve Forbes is a great coach and has a young enough team that there will be little drop-off next year. Duke is no longer a one-and-done school and has veteran talent. The Blue Devils are a better program that is on a heater. Duke is the winner of five straight and plays well in neutral and road game settings. Kyle Filipowski is the best player on the Blue Devils team with size and a scorer’s touch. The Blue Devils need to keep winning with North Carolina on their Heels. Take Duke.

Rotation #669
UNC -3.5 over Virginia (win)
UNC is looking to keep par with Duke to be the best team in the ACC. Both teams play different styles, as UNC has a fast-paced offense, and Virginia takes the air out of the ball and takes the best shot. The wildcard factor is UNC can also play tremendous defense and has the experience to play on the road. Hubert Davis has done a great job leading the Tar Heels. There is no doubt they have the more talented roster. The Tar Heels will use their athleticism to get a big road win. Look for RJ Davis and Armando Bacot to run the show. Virginia can’t keep up offensively. Take UNC.

Rotation #795
USC +4.5 over UCLA (win)
USC matched well in the first meeting as they had a decent lead until they mentally fell apart and allowed the Bruins to go on a 22-4 run that the Trojans never recovered from. UCLA is a young team with the luxury of playing a weaker schedule. Many first-year players have never played this many games in a season. The Trojans have yet to win a signature game and could get close against a Bruins team that doesn’t have the best offense. Look for the Trojans to make it a closer game, as they must value the basketball against the outstanding defense the Bruins play. Take USC.
