Rotation # 109
Iowa State +1 over Arizona State (loss)
Arizona State had one of the best turnarounds in college football history. The Sun Devils were awful last year and had to move conferences as the PAC 12 dissolved. Head coach Kenny Dillingham isn’t old enough to run for president, and QB Sam Leavitt is only a freshman. Running back Cam Skattebo is the bulk of the Sun Devils offense. Iowa State could be better against the run, but their secondary is good enough to hold off any comeback attempt via the air. The Sun Devils are without Jordyn Tyson for the remainder of the year, which will hurt their chances in the air. Matt Campbell is a veteran coach for the Cyclones and will have his team ready to play. He stresses mistake-free football. Iowa State has a massive offensive line that will protect QB Rocco Becht enough to throw to key targets like Jaylin Noel and Jayden Higgins. Getting out to an early lead is very important in this game. Take Iowa State.

Georgia/Texas Over 50.5 (loss)
Georgia got the better of Texas earlier in the year, but it was when Longhorns QB Quinn Ewers was not at full strength, just returning from injury. Today’s game will be much closer. We are seeing a vulnerable Georgia team for the first time in a while. Georgia needs help with stopping the run. Texas will give the Bulldogs a heavy dose of Quintrevion Wisner and Jaydon Blue behind a massive offensive line, and then Ewers can target his quality receivers. Georgia senior quarterback Carson Beck has tremendously talented receivers to target. Head Coach Kirby Smart is one of the best coaches of this century and will have his team ready. Texas has the best pass defense in college football, so that it will be a great battle. Look for both teams to trade blows after for this game to be a high-scoring affair on an indoor track. Take the Over.

Rotation # 117
Clemson +2.5 over SMU (win)
SMU had a phenomenal first year in the ACC, moving over from the American Conference. QB Kevin Jennings has been electric. It’s been a storybook year for the Mustangs, but they are playing a desperate Clemson team that knows their only path to the playoffs is with a win today. One tremendous advantage for the Tigers is their familiarity with playing on this field in Charlotte many times over the last decade. Undoubtedly, this is a down year for the Tigers, but it’s hard to count out Dabo Swinney on the big stage. QB Cade Klubnik has a lot of quality receivers to work with, and Phil Mafah is an outstanding running back. The other tremendous advantage Clemson has is that their opponent creates many penalties. It might get you by the Duke’s and Boston College’s of the world, but it can be a team’s downfall in a championship setting where everything tightens up. The Tigers should have the majority of the crowd behind them. Take Clemson

Rotation # 120
Oregon -3.5 over Penn State (win)
Penn State is a dangerous team because it was not supposed to be here but got in after Michigan upset Ohio State. The Nittany Lions’ offensive line could be better, and they are dealing with an injury, so I expect Oregon to bring a lot of pressure. PSU Head Coach James Franklin has yet to prove himself to be consistent in big games. The Ducks dominated the PAC-12 last year, moved to the BIG 10, and did the same. Dan Lanning is a phenomenal coach, and senior QB Dillon Gabriel is an experienced QB who is about to make a lot of money next year. Jordan James is a speedster at running back, and Gabriel has a host of talented receivers to target. The Ducks are looking to finish an undefeated campaign and are the more talented team and coaching staff. Take Oregon.
