Rotation #315
SMU +3.5 over Tulane (win)
Tulane has the luxury of hosting the AAC Championship Game and is no stranger to winning the title, as they won last year. Willie Fritz is a good coach but lost his offensive and defensive coordinator from a year ago. The only thing terrible about success is people move on to better jobs. Michael Pratt is an excellent QB and still has a few weapons from last year’s team. SMU is a ground attack team with outstanding running backs and a strong defense. The Mustangs original starting QB, Preston Stone, is out with a leg injury for the year. The freshman Kevin Jennings has been a good game manager. The Mustangs only ask a little for him and solely rely on their elite running game. Both teams have been flawless in conference play and have what it takes to win the title. The Mustangs have slightly more talent and depth and are ready for a shot at the title. Take SMU.

Rotation #317
Georgia -5.5 over Alabama (loss)
Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban has done a tremendous job winning games with a team that wasn’t his most talented. Alabama lost its offensive and defensive coordinator a year ago and has been excellent in its rebuilding year. Georgia Coach Kirby Smart has been the best coach in college in the last couple of years, and defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann has been an unstoppable force. Alabama’s offensive line has shown signs of improvement, but is young. Good luck against the  Georgia front seven. The Bulldogs have a few offensive players who are questionable for the game, but it doesn’t matter, as the  Georgia defense won’t have a problem disrupting the Alabama QB. The Bulldogs can run the ball well and play defense. Take Georgia.

Rotation #322
Florida State -1.5 over Louisville (win)
Florida State lost star QB Jordan Travis in a meaningless game at the end of the year, and then backup QB Tate Rodemaker got hurt last week. We could see the third-string quarterback, Brock Glenn. FSU has not lost a game this year and has found ways to win. The Seminoles have a veteran coach in Mike Norvell. Conversely, the Cardinals have a brand new coaching staff. Louisville QB Jack Plummer is an outstanding QB, but he needs to be mobile to give the Noles a headache. He is a pocket passer only, so FSU should get a few sacks. The Seminoles have one of the best offensive lines with more experience than any team. Look for running back Trey Benson to have a big day on the ground and for the FSU defense to create turnovers for their offense. Elite running games and teams who play solid defense typically win titles.Take Florida State.
