Rotation # 248
Miami -3.5 over Iowa State (loss)
We are in new territory with NIL deals, and the transfer portal is more active than ever. Teams are tight-lipped about who is going to play, which should be illegal, as gambling is legal in most states. Injuries and playing status should be mandatory at the college level. Miami is coming off a brutal loss at Syracuse and would love to make their season right by getting a bowl win. Cam Ward is an exceptional talent at quarterback. Both teams run the ball well and have solid QB play. I like the Canes better because they have an outstanding defensive line that should be able to put pressure on Iowa State QB Rocco Becht. The Cyclones’ passing game revolves mainly around Jaylin Noel and Jayden Higgins. Who knows how much they play? Iowa State will be without a lot of talent on their defensive line, and it’s unclear if key players in the secondary will dress. You hate to make assumptions about sports gambling, but you don’t know what you will get until kickoff in the lesser bowls. Take Miami.

Rotation # 415-416
Cardinals/Rams Over 47.5
The Rams can lock up the NFC West Title with a win tonight and can all but eliminate Seattle with a victory. Arizona has nothing to play for, but this is the same team that won 41-10 earlier this year. Arizona will not roll over and not put up a fight in a divisional game. The Rams’ offensive line situation is much better than earlier this year, and the key skill players are all healthy and looking to make an immediate impact on the game. Cardinals Kyler Murray is a sneaky quarterback who can hurt you in multiple ways. Running back James Conner is a freight train. The Cardinals have a lot of talent in the receiver position and have favorable matchups against the Rams’ secondary. Look for Arizona to compete to the very end. Both teams should do enough to make this a high-scoring contest. Take the Over.
