NFL Picks for 12/24/22

NFL
1:00 PM EST
Rotation # 461
Bills -8.5 over Bears (win)
The Bills head to Chicago to hold on to their number-one seed in the AFC. Buffalo is the better team in all phases of the game and should take advantage of the most injured secondary in all football. There is no chance the Bears’ corners can play against the superstars on the Buffalo offense. Chicago will have a tough time moving the ball against Buffalo’s top-ranked defense. Josh Allen should have a field day throwing and running the ball. The weather will be ice-cold, and the struggling Bears will give up quickly. Look for a lopsided blowout. Take the Bills.

Rotation # 466
Chiefs -10.5 over Seahawks (win)
Seattle hits the road to take on Kansas City with a banged-up offense. Kenneth Walker should play, but he is nursing an injury. Tyler Lockett will miss the game today, and many other players are questionable on offense. The Chiefs are one of the worst teams in the league at covering the spread, so that most bettors will avoid the high number today. Kansas City will win by double-digits, facing a bad pass defense. Look for Patrick Mahomes to find Travis Kelce at will this afternoon. Kansas City is playing to gain the number one seed in the AFC. Take the Chiefs.

Rotation # 468
Ravens -6.5 over Falcons (win)
The Falcons and the Ravens are on backup quarterbacks, but the weather is the main factor for me playing Baltimore. Atlanta is used to playing something other than frigidly cold games in their division. The Baltimore running game should have a big day on the ground. Look for Drake, Dobbins, and Edwards to run all over the Falcons’ defense. The Falcons have a good run defense, but once Atlanta gives in to the run, Tyler Huntley will find Mark Andrews and his receivers for significant gains. Look for Atlanta to be confused on defense most of the day. Baltimore should control the clock and have the Falcons players thinking about getting warm. Baltimore needs to win this game, or they will be flirting with missing the playoffs altogether. Take the Ravens.
