Believe it or not, the A’s have been hitting the ball better this month and are currently playing at a higher level than the White Sox in August. Chicago is awful against left-handed pitching, and Oakland has the better pitcher on the mound in JP Sears. White Sox pitcher Touki Toussaint walks too many batters and isn’t cutting it as a starting pitcher you can depend on. Look for Oakland to show some life over the year’s final month. Take the A’s.
