Seattle is a perfect 3-0 to start the season, which is impressive given that they have new coaches and staff members. The Seahawks are a product of their easy schedule and have yet to be challenged. A defensive coordinator’s dream scenario is facing quarterback Syler Thompson, Bo Nix, and Jacoby Brissett. There is a drastic step up in talent facing Jared Goff on the road. Every season is different, but the Lions offense returns almost every player from their electric campaign a year ago. Did you know the Seahawks are without four starters on their front seven tonight? The run defense and pass-rushing ability won’t be there for Seattle. I have not been a fan of how the Lions have played so far, but they have to take advantage of a battered Seahawks defense by running the ball. The Lions will be able to be two-dimensional tonight as the run will set QB Jared Goff up in the passing game. The entire field will be open. More real estate equals a better chance of a team having success. Detroit must take advantage and get the bad taste out of their mouth from the last time they played at home. Take the Lions.
