The Diamondbacks didn’t play great in the last few games of the regular season but have been in elimination mode for a few weeks. Teams with this type of pressure are more focused than the Dodgers, who coasted in and didn’t have to be in survivor mode this year. Arizona destroyed Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw, who didn’t last an inning in game one. That’s one of the most impressive things you will ever see in this game. The Dodgers will depend on Bobby Miller to keep them from being on the brink of elimination. Miller was outstanding this season but is a rookie and has never faced this type of pressure. Arizona should have hot bats again tonight. Zac Gallen couldn’t have been worse against the Dodgers this year. LA is licking their chops to put up a lot of runs tonight.
