Rams/49ers Under 42.5 (win)
Both teams have decent-skill players, but their offensive line situations are not ideal. The Rams are without 40% of their starting offensive line tonight, and the already young 49ers offensive line is again without Trent Williams. San Francisco’s running game is thin without original start Tray Lance and top running back Elijah Mitchell. Jimmy Garoppolo will do OK, but he isn’t as mobile anymore and should have a tough time against the Rams from seven. Matthew Stafford should also have a tough time again with the 49ers’ front seven. Offensive lines that struggle set their team back with holding penalties and a false start. Sloppy play on the offensive line equals drive killers, which helps total. The over/under is just 42.5 tonight. Look for both teams to struggle to put together solid drives, as the defenses will be able to get pressure all night. Take the Under.
