Raiders/Chiefs Over 51.5 (win)
Josh McDaniels is a first-year head coach for Las Vegas but has a lot of coaching experience, as he was responsible for Tom Brady for years in New England as the offensive coordinator. Andy Reid is also an offensive-minded head coach for the Chiefs, with Patrick Mahomes as his quarterback. The Chiefs should be able to take advantage of a Raiders defense that doesn’t put pressure on opposing offenses. Nothing about the Raiders’ secondary scares me, so Kansas City should put up points. The Raiders will run Josh Jacobs against a poor run defense, and Derek Carr should be able to pick on the Chiefs’ corner as they are inexperienced and lack depth. Look for the Raiders to use their tight end, Darren Waller, and a lot of dinking and dunking down the field with their skilled players for points. Kansas City is the better team, but this should turn into a shootout. Take the Over.
