Rotation # 562
Knicks -7.5 over Sixers (win)
The Sixers made the improbable comeback down 3-1 against Boston, but had moments of bad basketball that most teams would take advantage of. The short-handed Celtics battled back in the fourth quarter to make up an 18-point deficit, only to fall short in the game’s final minutes due to their lack of offensive firepower. The Knicks won’t have that problem. Sixers center Joel Embiid was playing hobbled in Game 7 and is a play away from getting hurt again. Philly battled extremely hard and is exhausted heading into game one at Madison Square Garden. The superstars from both teams will have to work extra hard, as neither team’s bench is reliable enough to trust in a playoff setting. The spread in this game is high, but the hometown Knicks have been the better team this year and are well rested compared to the Sixers. New York is coming off an epic performance against the Hawks and should have that momentum carry over into Game one tonight. Take the Knicks.

Rotation # 971
Dodgers -1.5 runs over Astros -125 (win)
Yamamoto/Okert
Offense isn’t the issue in this matchup. The Dodgers have a great slugging percentage against lefties, and the Astros are great against righties. The issue is the Astros’ pitching, mainly their bullpen. Steven Okert will get the start, and then after an inning, the shuffling will begin. Houston’s bullpen has the worst ERA in baseball, and right from jump street, they are at a huge disadvantage going against Dodgers ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto. The money line is too high. We will take the run line. Take the Dodgers -1.5 runs -125.
