The Padres are playing great baseball and would be tied for first if they were in the NL Central. The Cardinals are also a good team, but San Diego hits the ball well against left-handers and hits the ball better on the road than they do at home. Packy Naughton has little MLB experience, which gives San Diego the edge. Take the Padres.
