This has been a tournament of upsets, but in a matchup like this I am still looking at the BIG East as a superior conference over MAC play. This is a very experienced Creighton team that is better in just about all areas. The Blue Jays are not a good offensive rebounding team which might get them in trouble against a team that has superior size and more talent, but tonight it’s just not the case. Ohio is on a nice run, but they are a middle of the road MAC team and at this time of the year good coaching and superior talent should take over. Take Creighton.

Alabama -5.5 over Maryland (win)
Alabama will get knocked out of this tournament if they draw a team that is aggressive at taking away the ball. Maryland is a bigger team, but they are not that good at forcing turnovers which makes Alabama a dangerous high scoring team when they get to keep those couple of extra possessions they normally give away. The Terps just don’t have the offense to keep up and can’t create second chance opportunities on offense. Alabama is a great rebounding team so Maryland is going to have to shoot a high percentage to win this game. Take Alabama.
