Rotation # 385-386
Vikings/Rams Over 47.5 (loss)
Respect to the Arizona Cardinals organization for hosting this wildcard matchup due to the wildfires. It’s a tough break for the Rams, as they played an entire season to get home-field advantage and won’t be able to take advantage of it. For a good part of the season, the Rams were a mash unit on the offensive line, and at the same time, their best receivers were all in and out of the lineup. The Rams were unrecognizable. Los Angeles is back to full strength and finished the season strongly. The Vikings finished the year deflated and looking hopeless on the road against the Lions. Minnesota fell to the #5 seed. The only positive the Vikings have coming into this game is they are facing a Rams defense that has not been good since Aaron Donald retired. Minnesota will be able to move the ball against the Rams’ defense and will be able to run the ball with Aaron Jones. I don’t expect the Vikings to have multiple red zone blunders like last week. Los Angeles has many outstanding weapons at receiver and a massive offensive line that can open up lanes for Kyren Williams. Los Angeles QB Matthew Stafford should be sharp tonight and will look for targets like Tutu Atwell, Cooper Kupp, Demarcus Robinson, and Puka Nacua. Tonight’s game should be a high-scoring affair. Take the Over.
