North Carolina is coming off an outstanding performance at Virginia. The Tar Heels proved they can play a low-scoring defensive battle on nights without scoring 85 points per game. Miami has struggled on the road and could have had a better season. I expected more of a Jim Larranega coached team, but his best days are behind him. The Hurricanes will be without the services of Nijel Pack, their most experienced player. Pack is an excellent passer, so Miami will miss him tonight. UNC is eager to get back to scoring after a defensive slugfest over the weekend. The Tar Heels will go on a run or two to get this contest over double digits. Take North Carolina
