Colgate -21 over Columbia (win)
Columbia did not play last year due to Covid-19 and returned only a few players from the previous team. None of the players who returned were significant contributors, and this year’s team consists of 6 players who never played at this division 1 level before the season started. Colgate has gotten off to a slow start but is a great team that finished 11-1 in the Patriot League last year. Matt Langel returns for his 11th year coaching the Raiders. Colgate is a tough team to beat at home and is led by Tucker Robinson and Nelly Cummings, both great guards. The betting public is all over Columbia because the spread is so high for a pair of three-win teams. Over 40 minutes, the Raiders should dominate and win in a blowout. Take Colgate.
