The Mariners have the worst on-base percentage since the All-Star Break and have no home-field offensive statistical advantage. Seattle starter Bryce Miller has been dealing with injury all season, so I expect San Diego to take advantage of him. The Padres have the better starting pitcher and the best bullpen in baseball. Both teams are fighting for a divisional lead or, at the worst, a wildcard bid. I don’t like how the Mariners have been playing as of late. Take the Padres.
