Rotation #153
Michigan State +3.5 over Northwestern (win)
Northwestern had a terrific season last year.  This team returns just 39% of their production which is last in college football.  Peyton Ramsey was a duel threat QB, but he since has moved on to the NFL.  Both QB’s for Northwestern are not mobile and that’s going to be a problem this year.  The Wildcats lost their top 4 receivers and due to the Cam Porter injury have lost their top 4 running backs from last year.  Nobody on this roster that’s not a transfer is proven skilled player.  I just don’t see Hunter Johnson or Ryan Hilinski having great success early on in the season with the new guys on this team.  This offensive line is extremely light and I believe the Spartans can get after them and make the life of a non mobile QB miserable.  Michigan State has a new QB in transfer Anthony Rizzo and they return Payton Thorne who saw some action last year.  The starting offensive line is back for the Spartans and they have great depth.   This team has a lot of skilled players and the addition of RB Kenneth Walker will help.  Northwestern has a new defensive coordinator and it will take some time for these players to adjust to a new system.  This is a rebuild year for the Wildcats.  The Spartans won this matchup last year by 9 and I believe have gotten much better while Northwestern has gotten worse.  The wrong team is favored.  Take Michigan State.
